Where to start with this question?
The fact that this question is either incomplete or ungrammatical (or both) may indicate how much care has (or has not) been taken over the preparation of these questions.
On the actual question sheet, this question was included in Question 6. (For the benefit of those who didn't take part on the night, Question 6 read "Bell Metal consists of two metals, name either Monazite is an ore of?")
According to Wikipedia, "Monazite is an important ore for thorium, lanthanum, and cerium." It also contains small amounts of silicon and uranium.
In other words, either "lanthanum" or "cerium" should also have been accepted as a correct answer to this question.
